t's the first day of Zoo School and outgoing Amanda the Panda is ready. She's excited and can't wait to go! But for anxious Alfred the Alligator, the first day fills him with dread. Why does he have to go? Isn't he smart enough already? When Amanda gets to school and sees that everyone seems to have a best friend, she decides that Alfred would be the perfect best friend for her. But what does it mean to be a best friend? Does it mean enjoying the same things or feeling the same way? Amanda doesn't notice that Alfred doesn't like sitting at the front of the classroom. And she doesn't notice that Alfred is miserable when she picks him to play Tag. In fact, Amanda doesn't notice much about Alfred at all. She's too busy enjoying everything all around her. And it's up to Alfred to point out to her how he is feeling. A thoughtful story that explores what it means to be a best friend.

We offer USPS priority shipping within the continental United Sates. Upon shipment, USPS priority can take anywhere from 2-5 business days depending on distance. We ship from Texas.
In-store pick up is FREE. Please check the box marked 'LOCAL PICK UP' when purchasing.
14 DAY RETURN POLICY / STORE CREDIT
We will gladly accept returns on items (except those marked "SALE”) within 14 days from time of delivery/in store purchase. Items must be in unworn, unused condition, in its original packaging and have all original tags attached. Without these, items are not eligible for returns. The return will be refunded in the form of STORE CREDIT. Any item marked SALE (any discount) are not eligible for return. Store credit will be for price of item only; there is no refund on shipping. We are happy to provide shipping return labels if needed at our standard shipping rate of $7.95. Payment for the label will be deducted from your store credit refund. Online orders must include your packing slip with item(s) returned circled. Items returned after 14 days will not be refunded.
EXCHANGES
We will gladly help with exchanges in store. Items will need to meet the return policies to be eligible.
